Frosted Croakies (Enchanting Inquiries Book 5) by Sam Cheever

Frosted Croakies

(Enchanting Inquiries Book 5)

4 Stars

This is the fifth installment of the Enchanted Inquiries series by Sam Cheever.

This is just a bunch of body swapping Christmas fun. This makes you want to take a second look at the cookies put out for a yuletide celebration. You never know what might happen to you.

Nadia is the magical keeper of oddities. So, when Sebille asks her to host the holiday party at the bookstore… how can she say no? Seems like that would be the last place you would host a party since there are so many magical objects just hanging around, but what do I know?

When a couple of humans dressed as elves take refuge from the cold at the bookstore… things start to go a little wonky. Somehow everyone ends up as someone else. And Nadia is suddenly in a frog’s body. It gives the manager of Croakies a whole new outlook on life.

I thought the magical parts of this were great. There were a few times I got lost since everyone was someone else but that is to be expected, I think. As the mystery unfolds, you are sitting at the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next and fret with Nadia whether she will ever be a human again!

If you love a good cozy\ mystery, definitely check this one out. You won’t be disappointed!

I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) from the author via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.
